Navy Tackle Twill Embroidered Crewneck Sweatshirt

Stunning, sewn in gold Gothic UW tackle twill measuring 8.5 inches high and 7 inches wide. Left shoulder embroidered with gold "Washington Rowing". The Hanes Ultimate Cotton unisex crewneck sweatshirt features a 10-oz 85/15 blend of USA-grown cotton with pill-resistant polyester, with reinforced stitching and spandex-rib trim.  One of our most popular new products, the "Gothic Gold" sweatshirt reflects the class and tradition that is Washington Rowing.

Please note:  The XS size is the Port & Co Fan Favorite Fleece Crewneck, an 80/20 blend and a little bit lighter of a sweatshirt. Tackle Twill and all decorations remain the same.

Historical significance: we have included a photo of Rusty Callow's VBC (Class Day) medal from which this art first originated for the team.  Callow, graduate and captain in 1915, would go on to coach at Washington from 1922-1927, coaching our first National Championship Varsity 8 to victory in 1923. He repeated the NC again in 1924 and 1926, before moving to Penn and ultimately Navy, where he led the midshipmen to Olympic Gold in 1952.
